Why am I a Tailgate Ambassador Coordinator?
Since I am using my current position as my internship my pay is a little different than a normal intern with the Houston Texans. The regular pay for an intern is $7.25 an hour, however you do have networking opportunities with other departments and sponsors and tons of perks. Example of perks include tickets for games, discounts on Texans merchandise, free meals, the use of weight room and Texans merchandise gifts.
The perks and the pay of a Tailgate Ambassador Coordinator are great rewards for working at the Houston Texans but the true reward is working with my fellow Tailgate Ambassadors, Houston Texans employees and the FANS. We work in anywhere from 100 degree weather to 30 degrees and raining but the fans make it all worthwhile.
